We Engineer and market

1973: - The Company commenced trading as Bellco Equipment, manufacturing conveyor components and structures for the mining industry under sub-contract to the likes of Prok and Marweight Equipment.

1981: - After 7 years of operation and after requests from numerous National companies, it moved into the Engineering Consulting field in Grains and Powders handling.     

 

1992: - Perceiving a need within the Powders Handling field for an experienced and knowledgeable Company, the Organisation was re-established as ABM Handling Systems and commenced design and manufacture of Flexible wall feeders, Loss-In-Weigh and Batch Feeding systems , Positive and Negative air conveying systems.

1998:  - ABM was re-branded as Bulk Handling Technology.

 

2006: - The name was changed to Bulk Handling Equipment Pty. Ltd., to better reflect our industrial equipment range and mission statement.

In heavy engineering industries, BHE staff has extensive experience in the Mining and Quarrying fields in hard rock,  Iron Ore, Bauxite, Ilmenite and Coal processing from:

• Run-of-mine and Primary crushing

• Secondary and tertiary crushing & processing

• Pugmill blending of cement and water to fine crushed rock

• Stockpiling

• Road outloading

In the Concrete Manufacturing Equipment field:​

• Cementitious Storage Silos & Feeding systems

• Concrete Batching Plants

• Waste Concrete reclaiming and slurry Filter Presses

• Cement/Fly Ash Pugmill blending systems

• Concrete Mixer - Planetary and Twin Shaft type.

Since 1993, the BHE subsidiary business - Helicoid Flighting has been supplying superior quality continuously wound flighting (also variously referred to as screw flighting, Helix or Pigtails) to the Food, Pet Food, Pharmaceutical, Fertiliser, Plastics and Powders Handling industries.    Helicoid Flighting staff has in excess of 40 years of continuous experience within the Powders and Granules Handling fields, encompassing just about every mineral or powder that can be conveyed, screw fed, vacuum conveyed, micro-fed, Bulk-Bag loaded or unloaded.
